Sony Xperia G: SoC Snapdragon 400, 4.8 inch và Android 4.4

Lần trước, một bức ảnh cùng tin đồn đã khiến báo giới nhầm tưởng Xperia G có kích thước xấp xỉ Xperia Z1 Compact (4.3 inch). Thực tế, trong bức ảnh đó là Xperia G đặt cạnh Xperia Z1 (5 inch). Sản phẩm tầm trung mới này có thiết kế kế thừa Xperia Z1 và có màn hình đạt mức 4.8 inch và độ phân giải HD 1280 x 720 pixel.
Sony Xperia G được trang bị bộ vi xử lý Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 xung nhịp 1.4 GHz, đồ họa tích hợp Adreno 305. Thiết bị sở hữu camera chính 8 MP, được đặt vào giữa máy thay vì một bên góc như người đàn anh Xperia Z1. Chiếc smartphone này khi ra mắt sẽ chạy trên nền tảng Android 4.4 KitKat. Hiện tại theo nhiều nguồn tin, Sony Xperia G chính là mẫu Sony D5103 rò rỉ cách đây không lâu.

In the past two years, Sony has been concentrating on its Xperia Z series for flagships while other series like Xperia E and Xperia T serve as the mid-range series for another market sector. It looks like Sony is ready to introduce another new smartphone series – the Sony Xperia G series if the leaked details are true.
According to a Twitter user, he posted an image claimed to be the Sony Xperia G. The Xperia G is said to carry the design of a flagship, but the specs are mid-range standard.
In the image, the Sony Xperia G was placed side by side with the Sony Xperia Z1 handset. The larger device is clearly the Sony Xperia Z1 while the smaller device is the Sony Xperia G handset. Both devices look similar from the design – think and sleek.
The tipster claimed that the Sony Xperia G has a 4.8-inch display with the resolution of either 1280 x 720 pixels or 960 x 540 pixels. The resolution is just a wild guess because it isn't logic for a mid-range smartphone to have resolution lower than 960 x 540 pixels. The device is said to have an 8-megapixel shooter on the back together.
At the same time, a mysterious Sony smartphone by the model number of D5103 was spotted on the benchmark database revealed the device has a 720P display, a Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on KitKat. The chances of Sony D5103 being the Sony Xperia G are pretty high.
